Mona Chang

PUBLISHED: Feb 09, 2023

A violinist in a previous life, Mona was living in Boston when she decided to dedicate her career to the third sector so she could make a broader impact in the community. She made her transition at a workforce development organization where she helped low-income, immigrant women start new careers in health care. Now, she brings over 10 years of program management and relationship development experience to Tipping Point, with a range of expertise from the fields of the environment to the arts. She has served in different capacities at the New England Aquarium, Boston Civic Symphony, San Francisco Botanical Garden Society and the Asian Art Museum of San Francisco.
Mona studied music and sociology at UC Berkeley and received her master’s degree from Harvard Graduate School of Education. She is excited to be part of a larger effort to create systemic change to address the inequalities in her beloved hometown. Outside of the office, Mona enjoys museums big and small, and can often be found taking photos of plants on her hikes.
