Caressa Sanchez

Caressa started out in the nonprofit sector because she believes everyone deserves the opportunity to thrive despite their background. Caressa is passionate about providing her team members with the resources they need to succeed. Caressa is grateful for the role she plays in helping change the lives of those in the community who need it the most. Previously, Caressa worked at First Place for Youth, a Tipping Point grantee, for over 13 years. She had the  opportunity to hold various roles , from Executive Assistant to Operations Manager to her last position, Human Resources Generalist. During her time on the Human Resources team, she worked on enhancing employee programs and new hire orientation. While Caressa was born and raised in the Bay Area, one of her and her family’s favorite things to do is to visit famous tourist spots around the Bay Area––biking on the Golden Gate Bridge never gets old! From these expeditions, her family has become a  biking family, enjoying trails all throughout the Bay Area.
