“Our community is the reason I have faith that we can—and we will—build a Bay Area where everyone can prosper.” On May 2, 2024 CEO Sam Cobbs, addressed nearly 1,000 friends and supporters at the Tipping Point Benefit, where attendees raised over $14.5 million to fund poverty-fighting organizations, advance policies, and develop new ideas to increase economic opportunity in the Bay Area.
Tipping Point’s strategy finds, funds, and strengthens the most promising poverty-fighting solutions so one day everyone in the Bay Area can prosper. Since 2005, we have invested over $410 million in community interventions, policy change, and new ideas.
Last year, our grantees provided life-changing services in housing, early childhood, education, and employment to over 90,000 of our neighbors across the Bay Area.
