LGBTQIA+
How to Show Up
- Be loud and proud, year round. Participating in, and encouraging, PRIDE events and celebrations is wonderful, but reinforce the policies on inclusion regularly, not just in June.
- Encourage use of pronouns. Ensure that inclusive, and proper, language is always used. Suggest employees add their pronouns to email signatures and when making introductions.
- Reduce gender segregation. Promote gender-neutral facilities and events. This includes bathrooms, locker rooms, dress codes, employee sports teams, etc.
