POC-Led Executive Fellowship: Our fellowship and program designed by and for leaders of color.

Investing in Organizations Led by People of Color

POC-Led Executive Fellowship, Tipping Point’s program designed by and for leaders of color, was born out of our belief that it is critical for the racial diversity of a community to be reflected in the leadership of the nonprofits it is being served by. In our first cohort, seven grantee leaders received unrestricted funding for their organizations, tailored partnership to support them where it was needed most, and networking opportunities, all while collaborating and creating our inaugural Fellowship to support them on their journey towards even greater and more equitable community impact.

POC-Led Curriculum + Fellowship

Cohort-Based Curriculum

To address the unique challenges organizations led by people of color often face, Tipping Point designed a cohort-based curriculum with input from the first class of participants. Co-creating the program allowed us to be responsive to the needs of the Fellows and their organizations. The curriculum is available to leadership teams of all participating organizations.

Executive Fellowship

This facilitated peer group is designed to build community, share information, experiences, best practices, and challenges amongst the CEOs of each organization. The Fellows also have access to an extended peer network of executives of color at all stages of their career who serve as thought partners and forge authentic relationships through participation in convenings and retreats to support a lasting network of POC executives beyond the fellowship journey.

Quotemark
Quotemark

Tipping Point Community invited us to be co-creators of a network of extraordinary leaders working collectively to solve today's complex problems rather than competing for resources. Being a Tipping Point grantee has opened doors to donors and advisors it would have taken me years to reach on my own. And their investment in me as a leader of color through the POC-Led Executive Fellowship has helped me unapologetically step out on behalf of Braven as myself.
