Alex joins Tipping Point with a background in institutional partnerships and grants management and also as a former teacher. He most recently worked at Teach For America where he managed a portfolio of foundation partnerships centered on educator supports and programmatic improvement + innovation. Prior to TFA, he worked in fundraising at Educators For Excellence, a teacher-led education policy and advocacy nonprofit. He also worked in sponsorship for a Bay Area sports team. Alex has a BS in International Politics from Georgetown University and an MA in TESOL from CUNY Hunter College. A Bay Area native, he lives in Oakland where he enjoys cooking, hiking, and going on local adventures with his wife and their dog.
