Divya brings over a decade of experience leading operations for both local nonprofits and corporate social impact initiatives. She is excited to lead Tipping Point’s philanthropic efforts, mobilizing resources to advance equity-driven, anti-poverty work across the Bay Area. Prior to joining Tipping Point, Divya founded Paisa Fundraising, a full-service operations firm supporting nonprofit executives through parental leaves and sabbaticals—ensuring fundraising continuity and clarity for investors and donors during times of transition. A 2018 Fish Fellow with the San Francisco Human Rights Commission, she launched the City’s largest paid youth apprenticeship program, serving more than 2,000 participants in its inaugural year. She currently serves on the board of the East Bay Community Law Center and previously chaired the Fundraising Committee as a board member of Oasis For Girls. Divya credits her foundation as a leader to her time as a first-grade teacher with Teach For America. She holds degrees in Sociology and Classical Languages, with distinction in Latin, from the University of Nebraska. Outside of work, you can find her cooking her way through spicy New York Times recipes and seeking out the warmest Bay Area microclimates.
