We go beyond the dollar by partnering with organizations to strengthen their impact.

Support Today for Impact Tomorrow

All organizations evolve over time, but in the nonprofit space, there are very few resources to support their growth for maximum impact. Tipping Point provides that capital and strategic partnership, building trusted relationships with grantees to support where they are today and help them unlock their full potential so more individuals can move from poverty to prosperity.

How We Assess + Support

Even in the vetting stage, Tipping Point’s team of experts work hand-in-hand with organizations to evaluate their current stage of growth and where we can add the most value. We are driven by impact, collaborating with grantees to pinpoint the biggest growth opportunities and then continuously working together to reach those goals.

Our Strengths-Based Assessment Tool

We look at seven criteria to help us focus on areas where grantees can achieve maximum impact:

  • Board governance
  • Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI)
  • Financial management and sustainability
  • Operations and infrastructure
  • Performance management
  • Program design and delivery
  • Talent

Our Customized Support

From strategic planning to supporting our grantees’ leaders and everything in between, we partner through:

  • Custom projects to respond to specific organizational needs
  • Workshops for staff to deepen expertise and grow skillsets in nonprofit operations
  • Specialized content-specific cohorts + peer learning spaces
  • Leadership fellowships
  • Portfolio collaboration on shared challenges and areas of opportunity

What I treasure about our partnership with Tipping Point is that we address our challenges together as partners. I know that when I confide in Talia, our program officer, she will serve as a trusted thought partner. And whether we're facing a challenge or considering an opportunity, she will also consider it through the lens of how Tipping Point can leverage targeted investments to support our goals.

Alissa Friedman, Senior Advisor, Opportunity JunctionTipping Point grantee

Tipping Point Community invited us to be co-creators of a network of extraordinary leaders working collectively to solve today's complex problems rather than competing for resources. Being a Tipping Point grantee has opened doors to donors and advisors it would have taken me years to reach on my own. And their investment in me as a leader of color through the POC-Led Executive Fellowship has helped me unapologetically step out on behalf of Braven as myself.

Diana Phuong, Executive Director, BravenTipping Point grantee

As we grow and respond to the challenges of the times, Tipping Point’s support of our youth-serving organization and housing program has been crucial. The staff is deeply knowledgeable and delivers wise counsel with candor and compassion. Coupled with their generous financial support, it’s a visionary recipe for organizational success, impact, and systemic change.
