LIMITED TICKETS AVAILABLE FOR NOV. 9 BAND TOGETHER BAY AREA BENEFIT CONCERT FEATURING METALLICA, DEAD & COMPANY, DAVE MATTHEWS, G-EAZY AND MORE

SAN FRANCISCO (October 31, 2017) — Today, 22 additional companies and civic leaders joined the Band Together Bay Area effort, bringing the total coalition to nearly 50 organizations committed to North Bay fire relief and long-term recovery for low-income communities in the region.

Last week, the coalition announced a benefit concert, Band Together Bay Area, that will take place November 9 at AT&T Park featuring Metallica, Dead & Company, Dave Matthews, G-Eazy, Raphael Saadiq and Rancid. Tickets went on sale Friday, October 27 and are selling fast with limited seats still available. Tickets are available through BandTogetherBayArea.org and Ticketmaster.com and range from $49.50 to $199.50 plus applicable charges. The best seats in the house will be donated to first responders, volunteers and families impacted by the firestorm for an evening of solidarity, respite and hope.

100% of ticket sales from the live music event will go to an emergency relief fund established by Tipping Point Community and will be directed to the North Bay community foundations, service providers and government partners supporting the low-income communities hit hardest by the fires. Additionally, Live Nation will donate service fees to the relief effort, as well as the labor to promote and produce the event.

The fires in the North Bay have burned an estimated 200,000 acres and 6,000 homes in Sonoma, Napa, Mendocino and Lake Counties, displacing thousands of residents. Damage estimates are in the billions of dollars and rising, and the cleanup and recovery efforts will be the largest and costliest in California history.

Organizations from all across sectors and the region have joined in the effort, showing a unified and strong response to urgent needs of low-income communities in the North Bay. New members include: AAA Northern California, AT&T, Bank of America, CODE Advisors, Deloitte, DocuSign, Dolby Laboratories, HP Foundation, LinkedIn, Masons of California, McKinsey & Company, Northern California Carpenters Regional Council, Perkins Coie Foundation, Pinterest, Qualtrics, Quip, RingCentral, Ripple, State Farm, TIBCO Software Inc., Visa and Workday. They will join the following list of previously committed event partners: Another Planet Entertainment, Benchmark, Facebook, Gap Inc., Gilead Sciences, Intuit Inc., Google, Levi Strauss Foundation, Kaiser Permanente, Kleiner Perkins Caufield Byers, Live Nation, Qatalyst Partners, StubHub, SV Angel/Ron Conway Family, San Francisco Giants, Salesforce, Tencent, TMG Partners, Twilio and Twitter.

The Tipping Point Emergency Relief Fund aims to address urgent needs, such as temporary housing, food, education and healthcare services, as well as rebuilding efforts. Beneficiaries to date include: Community Foundation Sonoma County, Napa Valley Community Foundation, the Redwood Credit Union Community Fund, Inc. as part of the North Bay Fire Relief Fund established by the Press Democrat and Senator Mike McGuire, Catholic Charities of Santa Rosa, among others.
