Katie Rinder

Katie joins Tipping Point with a background in individual giving and events, with a focus on early childhood, education and the arts. She is excited to join Tipping Point and support the incredible organizations that are making the biggest impact in our community. She most recently worked at the Bay Area Discovery Museum, where she led individual giving, major donors, and fundraising events centered on expanding access to high-quality early learning experiences for children across the Bay Area. Prior to the museum, Katie was at Success Academy Charter Schools in New York City, raising funds to support a growing charter network providing high-quality K-12 education to students from low-income communities, and she began her career at the Metropolitan Opera leading the Fundraising Events and Development Services team. Katie is a graduate of the University of Virginia with a double major in Economics and Art History. Outside of work, she enjoys running, skiing, and spending time with her family.
