As a child of immigrant parents and an immigrant herself, Angela believes that everyone, regardless of their background, should have access to the resources they need to prosper. She is honored to join Tipping Point and to support its mission in tackling the complex cycles of poverty in the Bay Area. Angela received her B.A. in Linguistics from UC Santa Barbara, where she joined a volunteering-based student organization that fueled her passion for helping the community. Prior to Tipping Point, Angela interned at the SF County Transportation Authority, seeing firsthand the need for equity-centric funding and planning initiatives and their impact on the community. In her spare time, Angela can usually be found singing karaoke with friends, trying out dessert cafes, or exploring thrift shops around the city.
