LGBTQIA+

More than any other country, America defines itself by a collective dream: the dream of economic opportunity and upward mobility. Its proudest boast is that it offers a chance of the good life to everybody who is willing to work hard and play by the rules.

How to Show Up

  • Be loud and proud, year round.  Participating in, and encouraging, PRIDE events and celebrations is wonderful, but reinforce the policies on inclusion regularly, not just in June.
  • Encourage use of pronouns.  Ensure that inclusive, and proper, language is always used. Suggest employees add their pronouns to email signatures and when making introductions.
  • Reduce gender segregation. Promote gender-neutral facilities and events. This includes bathrooms, locker rooms, dress codes, employee sports teams, etc.
